Indianapolis has more than five museums, including the Children's Museum of Indianapolis, (The
world's best and most progressive children's museum.) and a plethora of monuments and
memorials for history and education that compares to few other cities. The six different "cultural
districts": Broad Ripple - continues to appeal to artists and musicians, with a quaint downtown feel
and multiple specialty shops, restaurants and bars. Fountain Square - known for its unique
architecture and is a booming residential area. The Canal and White River Park - a 250 acre park
where you will find the zoo, state museum, Eitlejorg museum, Victory Field and the NCAA Hall of
Champions. Mass Ave - A thriving theater district with dining and housing nestled among the
galleries and shops. Wholesale District - Offers shopping (Circle Center Mall) a vibrant nightlife,
hotels and dining. Indiana Avenue - Home to the Madam Walker Theater and known for its
restored neighborhoods, history and music (especially jazz).
